That's gonna be a cool fly-in, Warren.

For those of you who haven't visited Heritage Airpark, it's a beautiful little grass air-patch. I highly recommend you visit if you are anywhere close to San Antonio -- I know the Cook family is gonna put on a fun event.

Randy,

We just need to convince Tim to swing by pick you up and bring the B25 down to Tejas, I think 3100 ft is plenty of room. Two of our guests could give a little demo on how a short field takeoff should be performed.

Warren,
Is the fly-in going to go rain or shine? I'm in San Antonio and might be able to come out, but the weather sure isn't looking too great.

Ryan,

Every thing is a GO. Come on out, Wx looks good, (paid off the wx gods)the big tent has been set up for the guests, and lots of confirmed a/c arrivals. We expect tomorrow to be a big day of fun and flying.

last moment of sanity until sunday

If driving directions are needed please visist the Heritage website, and give it your best shot. The phones will be busy with last minute pilots looking for wx advisories and such, but call if progressives are needed.

looking forward to seeing everyone at our fly-in.

Also, flyers GPS coords are listed on the website, fly safe and watch for traffic and norads, will be monitoring unicom for those with radios.

last year over 100 unique a/c on saturday

LOL! I think that you guys were completely sane! What a blast. Thanks for the Stearman ride and setting up the whole thing. It was definately worth the trip out. It was great to talk with the veterans and see the field.
Below are a few of my pictures. (Warren, you have my permission to grab them for Heritage if you're interested...)

Stearmans have a habit of bringing smiles... :D This was my second ever flight in one. Thanks to Brian for letting me ride and actually fly it a bit!
