Just got the latest issue of Classic Wings - Great as usual - Thanks GMO and DaveM2

However,

All the info I have is that the ex Chris Gruys P-40 was a P-40C (ex RAF AK295) and not a P-40B as in the article (it is un-identified in article) now at Avspecs..

Can anyone confirm that

a) this is the same plane?
b) Chris Gruys is not working on another P-40 but a C version and sold a B project?

We didn't put an identity as we couldn't confirm which it is, it is one of badly wrecked aircraft bought in from Russia and I think ( but not certain) went to Tom Wilson.

I am a big fan of the P-40B/C...I would love to know how many are out there.

My *hitting the lottery* first purchase would be a P-40B/C

6 C models
I imagine these numbers have grown in the years since WD#4 was published...
