I could not find any threads about this, but sorry if this has been covered.

Yesterday an ex-RNoAF F-104 again got some air under its wings in Bodø, Norway.
Thanks to a dedicated group of people that has been working on this project for 13 years, RNoAF tes pilot Eskil Amdal could take the Starfighter up for a 50 min test flight last night.

Check out the videos. They are a must see!

and finally a few minutes of howls!

An amazing achievement. And an amazing sound! I've never heard a Starfighter before, that howl is truly awesome! It was great to watch the Facebook video filmed by supporters, hearing their reactions was wonderful.

Pretty awesome! I got the chance to see the "Starfighters Inc" in Wendover many many years ago and the jet has a very distinctive "cry" or "howl" for sure. Congratulations to those guys! How cool would it be to have the F-16 as your wingman?!

Great to see and hear, and brings back fond memories of The Red Indians, The Vikings and other awesome Starfighter demonstration teams. I think the last time I saw/heard an F-104 was circa 1993, so let's hope this one gets around a bit!
