The only round motor'd Grummans I own are in 1/72 and 1/48 scale...But I would love to see it.

Plus this opens up the possibility for a Cat flight. (If anyone can convince the Navy to keep a few F-14's handy)

Well there is still a nice long runway available at the former Grumman Calverton LI NY facility, and some large empty hangars available too!

I'm sure the Grumman Vets would love to attend as well.

BTW, they are putting together a nice memorial park on the site:

Rob,

You are aware that Oceana is trying to put together a CAT flight for thier air show? They will have a tomcat and are trying to get the more rare cats to show up (the panther through Tiger jets) but it is my understanding that they do have a hellcat, wildcat, bearcat and tigercat lined up to fly with the tomcat.

Maybe that bearcat from Lonestar will be in the air by then!
