Afternoon,
I am looking for a list of spitfire modifications that would of been incorporated durning the war.
I have recently dug a spitfire with the museum and we found the fuselage mod plate but would like to research the modifications that were incorporated.
We have a few more spitfire digs lined up so a list of them would be very helpful incase we fine more modification plates in the future.

Probably be best to post this over on flypast historic forum as there are many Spitfire buffs on there. What Spits did you dig by the way?
