This one has been in use at Medford, Oregon for a number of years.

I hope they plan on improving the toilet facilities a bit!

Will this remain indoors? If so, that is a great piece of news.

My wife and I ate in a KC-97 restaurant in Colorado Springs last summer, right around the corner from WestPac Restorations.

That is really interesting. I didn't realize this was done before. Thanks for sharing!

I wish the article mentioned where the plane would be stored. The IX Center has the ability for large planes to enter and leave. The first time I saw the B-29 Fifi it was parked indoors with a number of other planes. Seems silly to have it parked permanently on the ramp when plenty of space exists inside.

Anyone know which KC-97 this is? Previous owner or location? Article mentions it came from Arizona. I was not aware of any still at ARMARC or the neighboring yards, except the 2 at the Pima museum. One of those? Planes of Fame has the bits at Valle which I still hope get mated to Luck lady B-50 at Chino someday.

Converting a KC-97 into a restaurant was mentioned back in this thread.

This story within the above mentioned thread provides some more backstory. It also lists the serial number as 52-2604/N97GX (cn 16635).
