Hello Mr. Krumrei, my name is Horst Jeckel, 46, from Germany. I lived 50 Miles North from Frankfurt/Main. Im seeking all informations about the "Texas Rose" and the Crew from 2. Lt. Palmer M. Bruland, B 24 H, Nr. 41-28922 from the 445th Bomber Group 701. Sqd. They crashed here in my area only a few miles away. 2 Members of the Crew was shot after landing on the chute (S/Sgt. Ferdinand K. Flach and S./Sgt. Lee. R.J. Huffmann) in the near of a lttle German Airfield on the 27. September 1944. In in contact to many Fighter Groups. On the mail you find an article from my work.
