B-17 42-26096 Information Needed

I wonder if any of you have any information on B17 ONDA BALL of 511 Squadron 521 Group,This aircraft was lost in October 1943

44-26096 is a P-38... do you mean 42-26096?

The B-17's serial number is 42-6096 and the 511th Bomb Squadron was part of the 351st Bomb Group.
