Hey Mike,
The shots from Batavia bring back some great memories. I miss seeing the Kalamazoo fighters. Any idea where that Harpoon is now?

I am glad you enjoyed them. Those Batavia shows were special weren't they?

The PV-2 Harpoon recently underwent winter maintenance and is almost ready to take to the skies once again. Its home base is Mt. Comfort, Indiana and it will be starting to give rides this year.
The F-101 photo on the first page was taken at Stout Field in Indianapolis. It was a WW2 training Base for 1 Troop Carrier.

Mike and PJ,
Thanks for the info. I remember seeing the Harpoon often at Geneseo and Batavia years ago. For a lesser-known (at least to me) twin-engine, it seemed to be a pretty hot airplane. I hope to see it again.

I'll second that. I love seeing the Harpoon at airshows and it would be great to see it back at Geneseo one of these years.
