Kinda unique to see a Navajo code talker (Bronson) in a movie made in that time period. Maybe I have just missed the nod to them in other films.
Now that you mention it, the jungle was rather well policed. Was there a mention of Bronson being a code talker? i missed that.

There was a scene where he was waiting for the radio as they were working on it. n it works, they tell him to contact "HQ" and he tells the other operator to prepare for a message, then starts in wih a native language. I assume that is what they are portraying. He is picked on about his heritage all through his role.
