This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I'm looking for manufacturers and suppliers of high-quality, full-size replica aircraft for a museum
The aircraft are to be displayed outdoors
I'm looking for a replica of a
SBD-2 assigned to VMSB-232, Marine Corps markings
Mitsubishi A6M "Zero" with markings appropriate for Pearl Harbor attack time frame
I'm looking for a fiberglass (or whatever they use to make them) replica aircraft, not the real thing
Any recommendations?
Any estimates on how much they cost?

Yes, Gateguards by far the best replica aircraft builders in the World. I think at the present time they are moving premises, so if need to get hold of them, PM me as they are in the units behind the Aircraft Museum which I work at. Builders of high class replicas for Museums and movies all around the world. Built P-51s and P-40s for Redtails, a Bf109E-4, a Lysander for Brad Pitts' 'Allied' and then Spitfires for Dunkirk.

One of David Tallichet's companies used to make them. They were used at Specialty Restaurants 94th Aero Squadron restaurants around the country as well as the Proud Bird near LAX. Maybe contact them?
