Hey finally someone that knows what my profile name means!
Thats my dream to be pulling combat manuvers in a F4U, -51 or a P-40 with Black Sabbath, Disturbed or maybe AC/DC or Lamb of God playing in the cockpit! :supz: 8)

Maybe we knew but were too polite to say anything? :D

You'll need to have it cranked to 11 or you won't hear it over the engine...

Good luck. Save you cash and spend it on warbirds.

FWIW in real life combat the radios and aural warnings in the cockpit are so important (and busy) that listening to music is DANGEROUS to your life.

I live in Dekalb county,

In addition to the groups already mentioned, connecting with a local EAA chapter might be an excellent way to pick up some aircraft building skills.

http://www.eaa.org/chapter/chapter_locator.html

There's an active EAA chapter based right in Dekalb--no membership fees nor do you have to be an aircraft owner. There's also a branch (chapter/squadron/whatever) of the EAA Warbirds over in Aurora.

Happy hunting.

Hi, I'm 17 and have been diagnosed with Warbird Disease since I was 2 when my Dad started taking me to the Air Zoo. Someday, I hope to be involved with the Warbird movement. I plan on going to WMU College of Aviation, so that could be a start :D
