Culpeper today.
Gunfighter just landed also, along with a Bearcat.
The weather is perfect and I think is supposed to stay that way through Friday.

Ww2flyover.org , watch live starting at 11:30 ,eastern time, Friday September 25. Watched video from military aviation museum’s Facebook page with most of their 7 aircraft being highlighted along with their pilots, pretty cool. Today was practice flying .

Great rehearsal day today, like an airshow with no crowd. Weather is a little iffy for tomorrow, Saturday is the rain date just in case. Privateer went over at one point, later the two B-29s in tight formation. And all that other stuff...

Did not know that a Privateer was part of the flyover. Tim Savage from Indiana has brought 2 aircraft, the beautiful Silver Dragon and a just as lovely TBM.

Not that I would doubt you that you seen a Privateer flying over but I had to check and Gosshawks Privateer is there according to their Facebook page. It’s not on list of aircraft participating but I’m sure they will find a slot for it. I had planned to be at the May flyover but it was postponed as we know. Just couldn’t make it happen now. Dang!!! Last seen the Privateer was a few years ago at Thunder Over Michigan, really cool.

It was always planned for the Privateer to be there, but I read somewhere that it was mistakenly listed as a second Catalina when there is only one.

Sitting here in Lynchburg, looking at the weather radar and forecast...dang. Not looking good at all. I want to drive up to Culpepper, but not sure at all now. Is the plan for them to go to Udvar-Hazy if they all go up tomorrow?

Saw your post yesterday Baldeagle

I take it that most of the owners left Culpeper as well? Weather is not the best again this morning, but this afternoon might make for some decent photography if they have not all left.

Bummer - would have been nice to see. Also cancelled plans of the CAF putting on a show yesterday here in Indiana.
