My cousin is up around Eglin AFB this morning and got buzzed by a P-51 - but it was so quick that he couldn't make out exact markings... He thought he saw polished aluminum with invasion stripes and maybe some red... I appreciate any help...

Would guess it was Red Nose from CAF Dixie Wing. I believe the Mustang goes every year for a few weeks to give their pilots an opportunity to train in the P-51. Hopefully someone can chime in with a few more details.
