Hi all, I have recently run across some photos and a certificate of service of my grandfather, Capt David R. Stopher. I am looking for any information I can find about the plane(s) he flew and what happened to them, incidents, anything really. The information I have is limited to his certificate of service which includes his service number and that kind of thing. Is there a resource out there where I can take the information I have and find out the details, possibly his plane, etc? So far I know he flew a p51.

I am extremely interested, but really have no idea where to begin, or if it is possible to gather any more information specific to him/his plane.

Thanks in advance,
Pat

Pat,

Do you have any info on where, when, and with what unit he served.
It's pretty easy to find out what planes, etc. We just need a little more info to go on.

Regards,
Mike
