Spent an hour or so chasing thru the index of the contents of the Fairchild collection at NASM this afternoon. The collection runs something like 880 boxes. Ran across some interesting stuff, including proposal drawings to build the AT in both passenger and cargo configurations...Also found a later version of the SRM and two copies of the Erection and Maintenance manual., as well as a Duramold process book. Now to see about the process of obtaining copies for my use!
