In an alternate timeline...

Thought this was an interesting concept. Looks like an evolution of a B-36 Peacemaker... It has some design issue but its sorta neat.

Very cool. Looks to have some Russian design influence.

I agree to both points. Very Russian looking and very cool, as well!

It looks like an illustration printed on the 25-cent "Hi-Flier" kites from my childhood.

Now I'm imagining it as a faded, stripped-out hulk on the photo range at Edwards AFB... or at Pima with all the windows painted blue

Not to take it too seriously, but the outer wings look awfully small. I can appreciate the need for high aspect ratio wings for altitude, but they look too skimpy for the heavy fuselage.

And the gun cupola atop the fuselage looks like something from a "flying battleship" design from the '20s....any design late enough to have jets would not have had such a thing.

Interesting but I'm not sold on the control surfaces. it would need lots of room to make a 180 like two or three hundred miles. :)

Reminds me of some of the artwork/mods of the Kalinin K-7 out there on the net.

I agree. The upper turret seems out of place considering the rear turrets are remote. The "hump" turret seems to be aerodynamically inefficient.
