T-28B down in farmers field Yuba County California

The Aviation Safety Network is reporting that a North American T28 B warbird , FAA registration n twenty eight D E, manufacturer’s serial number two hundred dash three four six, military serial number one three eight seven five crash landed in a farmer’s field on at around 10am, while attempting an emergency landing near Yuba County Airport . Pilot and passenger suffered minor to moderate injuries . This T28 belonged to the Hmong Memorial Foundation .

So sorry to hear. Hope the two are on the road to recovery and it's not too bad for them.

Is it me or do T-28s have a bad reputation with loss of power and crashes?
