that's a F+W D-3801, dear Damien   nice shots as usual :D

Martin

(for all the other readers: Switzerland built an improved version of the MS 406C under license - first batch were D-3800's , the rest were D-3801's which had a better engine and a fixed oil cooler)

Wonderful pictures. I always enjoy seeing the formation flights of disimilar a/c, in this case, former adversaries in tight formation - really attractive.

As for the other a/c debut, IMHO, by any name, n-o-t an attractive a/c, especially shot from dead-on in the front...almost looks like the inspiration for the post-wat Edsel (a major failure from Ford in the USA). But a wonderful looking restoration.

What great photos from the Duxford preview, I'd really like to fly that MKV sometime! I think I'd have to take a deep breath before flying the HA 109.Hello to the good folks there, have a good show and most of all fly safe. Bill Greenwood

Thanks for sharing your pictures, Damien! Very Cool. They're all excellent. I really like the P-51 exhaust flames shot.
