That's correct. Tom Wood has owned this P-51 since early 1969.

You can spot a few subtle changes though, such as that the shape of the US national insignia has been corrected.

The Blue Angel FA-18 nose cone was showing s few signs of wear also.

Never seen a Blue Angel that looked that rough, unless it was on a pole somewhere. Maybe a backup aircraft ?

It is the twin seat #7 jet, used for VIP rides etc, and I think they use this A/C for back up as needed

Wow, that IS surprising, even to me. The BA jets are usually absoultely perfect looking.
