Shuttleworth Military Pageant 6th August – Lots of Piccies

I was getting withdrawal symptoms so apologies in advance for the number of images.
Another superb display was put on by the team at Old Warden, welcome visitors were Justin Needham in Pap Dog and Peter Teichman in his Spitfire IX. The opportunity was also taken to get Four Avros in the air as well as a number of Hawkers finest!
The Shuttleworth Tiger Moth also made its debut in new colours, and very nice they are to, a credit to the team in Area 51 and a half (Andy’s Workshop!)
On with the piccies.

A wonderful display by Chris Heames and the RAFGSA team, shame about the smoke!
Hawkers
Its been a long time since a Spitfire closed the show at Old Warden (but what about the Edwardians!)
The weather was perfect for the Edwardians
Nearly two hundred combined years in the air at the same time!!
The Bleriot actually turned!
Another perfect day, a big thank you to all the engineers, ground staff and pilots who make this such a special place!

New Tiger scheme compliments the Tutor nicely -talking of which the 504/Tutor formation is rather lovely.
(Have a bit of a thing for the 504, it makes me go all wobbly
