You guys have a neat niche in the warbird community. I really enjoyed touring that A/C.

Thanks. It has taken us 12 years to carve out that niche.

As a transport, it is more difficult to schedule events than it would be if we were a bomber. Even though we are a 4-engined aircraft, like a B-17. Actually, it costs more to operate the C-54 than a B-17, but we cant seem to get equal footing. Its a different world.

Its the story we tell and how we tell it that helps convince promoters to bring us in.

That, unfortunately, is life in the trenches.

Once again, A big thank you to all who toured the C-54, and I hope to see you all again!

BTW: I am not able to send a picture of myself to the WIX now, but if anyone has the Warbird Digest that features us, (May June, I think) You cant miss me.
