This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

You guys have a neat niche in the warbird community. I really enjoyed touring that A/C.

Thanks. It has taken us 12 years to carve out that niche.
As a transport, it is more difficult to schedule events than it would be if we were a bomber. Even though we are a 4-engined aircraft, like a B-17. Actually, it costs more to operate the C-54 than a B-17, but we cant seem to get equal footing. Its a different world.
Its the story we tell and how we tell it that helps convince promoters to bring us in.
That, unfortunately, is life in the trenches.
Once again, A big thank you to all who toured the C-54, and I hope to see you all again!
BTW: I am not able to send a picture of myself to the WIX now, but if anyone has the Warbird Digest that features us, (May June, I think) You cant miss me.
