So I feel the need to ask this question, Does the Collings Foundation now own a Me-262 or will they soon?

Whew, 25K's, I had to dig deep enought for a few lines of mustangs in my log book. Guess as they say, no hill for a stepper.

OK... So I am guessing this is one of the airframes from the Me-262 project... correct? Only two from there have been flown, and one is in Germany. So could this airframe be the other? Or... Are they completing the third airfame for Collings? As of last April the project was waiting for a buyer so they could proceed with the purchase of the engines. At that time the fuse was waiting to be mated to the wing. I was told if they got a buyer soon enough they could have a first flight by the end of the year. It might be a little late for that now, but certainly and interesting development.
