Some days there is rain, we can all see rain and know why its silly to fly in it. Today was different, it was a beautiful day, blue skies with a few white fluffy bits looked lovely. Apart from that is the gusting 30kt crosswind with wind shear on the approach.

After a weather check flight by the chief pilot the decision was taken to all abandon flying for the day (well almost all), so we toggies had to think about what we were taking. It was fun!

The weather got to some people, it must be the wind!

Meanwhile, work continued on Baron Von Hairyplanes new mount, however the pressure of work was getting to some people.

Visitors who stayed could take up the offer of a tour of the collection with one of the pilots as their guide.

All was not lost however, we did manage one display. Paul Stone on the RNHF Sea Fury made light of the conditions on his way back to Yeovilton from Duxford

What wonderful shots of the Sea Fury! I particularly liked the inverted shot. Great Job!
