Since everyone else is pleading for support, I ask that no one forgets about us!

If you are within a resonable distance from us (NY, NJ) and have some weekends available for work in the fall/winter/spring, get in the system and join as a Supporting member. The C-54 will be in for winter maintenance after Dec. 17, and the C-97 could use some helping hands!

(If you cant support us physically, your money helps too!)

Please visit our website at www.spiritoffreedom.org and click on National Support Group!

We could use hard working people from A&P Mechanics to people who dont mind sweeping the floor! If you dont mind a little dirt, you're our man!

If you someday want to get in on our Flight Crew, you have to start out as a supporting member!

We base out of Robert J Miller Airpark in Toms River, NJ in the spring and summer months and in the winter, we are in a cold hangar at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, NY.

Generally, we meet up somwhere in Jersey and carpool to the hangar!

If this sounds interesting to you, www.spiritoffreedom.org is your next click!

For my money, the Berlin Airlift folks are some of the nicest & most genuine folks out there in today's warbird community. Well, except for that Kevin guy...but after all, he drives a Jeep, so he's obviously lacking in judgement!!

Seriously, these are some really first class folks. Were I closer, I'd be helping em more, but I does whut I'se can.

Hi to Julie, Kev.

Kevin,

Believe me, if I were closer I too would LOVE to help out. I love Round engines and oil and dirt is just a natural thing under my finger nails. Perhaps I may find some "extra" $$ to send down to help some time, but things are tight since my move across the country.... Wish you guys were closer...I'd love to get a peek at the KC-97 up close and personal.
