PNG aircraft recovered to date

Tue Sep 19, 2006 11:35 am

Relateing to the Swamp Ghost story as of late. The PNG's council was quoted in saying that so far up to 82 aircraft have been removed from PNG.

Does anyone know if this # sounds right?

Also if 82 is the correct # can anyone list all 82 aircraft and where they are now?

If you google the search string

site:warbirdregistry.org png

you get 56 hits, and then another handful if you change "png" to "new guinea". That gets you started!

As the waiter said, it you wave it around they'll all want one...

I don't think listing PNG or ex-PNG airframes right at the moment would be the smartest move on the internet, hmm?
