Interesting that the WB-57 is missing its NASA logo's ? comments in the text say its was looking for mineral deposits

Those are some amazing pictures. It's nice to see a bigger picture then what just on the news channels. Looks as if Afghanistan has a lot of history turning to ruble. I hope one day soon they learn to appreciate it and preserve it before it's too late.
Concerning the RB-57. I'm glad to see that there is still some life left her yet. Searching for mineral deposits? Sure I guess. Is that the RB-57 that NASA is currently using or one of their retired RB-57's brought out of moth balls?

Actually I should have said WB-57 , according to NASA there are 2 left operational & they are both there's , '926 & '928 . This one has 28 on the tail.

Stunning photography ... gosh, what a dog-squeeze sort of existence that must be for the general population. God bless the US and allied troops that have to operate there.
That being said, looks like "the elites" have it pretty good, e.g., that palace with the helo parked on the white pad.
It's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle . . .
