Nobody Knows?
Things hopefully are going to get very exciting here in the next several months with 2 teams heading to Greenland to recover the remainder of the Lost Squadron. The German team says they plan to begin their expedition in May 07. We'll see, they have postponed before. I emailed the
http://www.OperationBolero.com folks and asked if they would post a update as to their progress on WIX. So again another "We'll See".

Just read on the news that Greenland's ice is melting...
If they just wait six or seven weeks the airplanes will be on the surface again!!!

P-Screamer,
Was curious if you had found the serials?
I'm interested in discovering what became of "Bugs" Lentz and "Bucky" Starbuck's P-38s that remained behind at BW-8 due to mechanical problems.
Also there is still one P-38 serial, of the six burried in the ice, that I can't account for.
Many thanks for any help.
