Hello,
Does anyone know the current status of Paul Allen's clean Type 97 "Kate" which was quietly exported out of the Pacific a few years back.
I have seen pictures of this project and it is fairly complete and clean. So I am excited to know more info.
I remember hearing something that he (may) have the substantial remains of a super-rare Nakajima Sauin (Allied code name "Myrt").
Very cool indeed but I am doubtful that much will be said to "usual" warbird guys or the general public.
