Dear All,

I got the chance to interview a former 306th Ball turret gunner this past week - a great experience! He was one of the youngest men to complete a full 25 missions - 17 years old!!

After 25 missions and a few more years as a radio operator he became a avionics engineer and has since retired. Anyway, he is really wanting to see a tech manual on the turret and specifically the sight. Does anyone out there have a copy they could make a copy of for me to get to this gentleman? PM me if you would like.

Thanks,

Tom P.

Tom,

I'd be happy to burn a copy off for you to give to this gentleman (no charge). Just send me your address and I'll try to get it out to you by the end of this week.

John
