might have been better had P&W donated a couple of 5 gallon pails of matt clearcoat and some rollers instead. No offense to a beautiful collection, but is there any real excuse in this day & age to paint a static indoor aircraft in a non-original super-thick ultra-gloss finish? Do you think maybe the '109 might be a little more interesting with some very well done aging on a matt base, just like the modeller's do? I'm willing to bet that there would be at least a dozen top notch modellers who would jump at the chance to help apply a super-authentic weathered paint job onto a real '109, for free to boot. Seems to be an odd way to uniformly finish a non-uniform collection, and unfortunately it slightly detracts from an outstanding effort, in my eyes at least.

just my 2 cents.

Yeah...but it isn't a 'real' 109
Still, I agree a little less shine would be good, but what the heck, it's their museum and they can do what they darn well like, good on them to boot, there isn't a lot in the way of aviation heritage on display in Brazil ( apart from the AFM)
