Jack do you have anymore information about this picture???

This is one my all-time favorite shots of a Spad. It's in my Vietnam Air War book but it doesn't say anything about it. I'd love to see a Skyraider done in these marking at the airshow.

You can bet that the perfume smell coming thru the open canopy was "Essense d'Aeroshell".

Shay, i'll try and find out more about this Spad.
One Spad pilot told me the scariest thing about
the airplane was getting in and out. After you
slip on all the oil it's a long way to the ground.

One thing I can say for sure, Spads are brutal on flightsuits.

The funniest thing I ever heard about Mike Schloss' airplane was that it was limited by oil.
It held 1000 gallons of gas with all the drop tanks on board.
It only held 37 gallons of oil. It also threw 4 gallons of oil an hour!

you do the math!
