Rather than hijack the WWII veteran A-26 thread I'll ask here if the surviving A-26, N119DR, 44-34313 (c/n 27592) was once named "Miss Shirley"? 44-34313 went to the 3rd BW and then to 452nd BW, was damaged by AAA Dec 27, 1951, and recovered at K-46, Korea, then in May 1952 to 17th BW according to Baugher's web site.

A friend flew on "Miss Shirley" in the Korean War and the only photo I have shows the numerals "313" on the nose.
