The L-2 has been on Ebay more than once in the past (same photos), so it makes me wonder if it's over priced or there's something wrong with it.

He's pretty tall on price for the L2 project for what he has. You figure at least another 2K+ for the prop and the same or more for a rebuildable core engine. Add another 1-2K minimum for a set of struts, and then you have to rebuild everything. A very conservative estimate would be for about another 7K+ in parts and materials and 12K in labor, bringing it to about 33K for a generous 22K$ aircraft. There are definately much better deals out there compared to this one.
