I had to go to Baltimore for some business, and was able to slip away to check the place out. The people that work there seem pretty positive about the Mars. Sorry I couldn't resist taking a pic of my Jeep with the airp[img]
Thanks for the great pictures of the aircraft displayed at the Glenn L. Martin Musuem in Middle River. Happy to hear about the positive feelings concerning the Martin Mars. Having that airplane fly there and become a part of the museum would absolutely make it a Major aviation attraction.
Any idea whether the museum has an F-86H stored somewhere? The MD ANG flew F-86H's for over a decade and with the New York Air Guard up in Syracuse were the only two units to fly Sabres into the 1970s. More than the RF-84F, F-100 or F-105 the F-86H belongs at Martin Airport.
