Randy - It is a bit unconventional for sure. I've also run up a rotary engine with its owner standing beside me providing instruciton. Talk about a lot of thrust from 1400 rpm! That BIG prop sure moves a lot of air. To be honest I hope to get the chance to fly one some day, but quite glad that even if someone is trying to get on my tail there will be no real rounds flying at me.

Oh yeah... and if I have to fly something without brakes and tailwheel I hope its on something resembling a standard RFC 40 acre square of grass - none of this narrow pavement buisness!
