I don't actually save movies, but God Is My Co- Pilot, Reach For The Sky, and Flying Tigers are favorites as the pilots depicted, Bob Scott, and Doug Bader, were friends.
Herb Fisher, another friend, did much of the flying in "Flying Tigers".

Good men one and all.

I don't know exactly what I have. At last count I had around 200 or so videos and/or DVD's. I believe I have most of everything that Hollywood has released on video. There is still a lot that I am looking for, though. The holes in my collection are movies and/or series that have not been released yet. Some of the things in my collection exist only as videotapes from a single or obscure showing on television from the early 80's until present. There is a lot of stuff out there that has never and will probably never be released because they would only hold interest to an extremely limited niche group.

Dude,Dewd,Duuude,

I was looking for a way to include the greats,
Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and
Caddyshack, I slacked off, not good.

Two of the greatest "War Quotes" of all time occurred in these two movies,

"And then, You must spank us all"

and

"It's kinda harsh..."

Thanks for keeping me, and all of us closer to our warbird/war movie, roots. :D

Surprised no one mentioned Come and See, a stunning Russian movie made around 1988. The partisan war in Belarus is the theme and it's very strong stuff. Google it for more info. About the only aviation bit is a Fw 189 overflight several times. I presume it was a model?
