So, it was cool that I got to tag along on Saturday. Well, I got the chance to tag along again today. Everyone I met from this group this weekend were nothing short of amazing, friendly, welcoming folks. Thanks again! I took the lessons I learned from Saturday and think my shots improved greatly on Sunday.

There will be a few more shots of the other Warbird Weekend planes left there today coming in the Paine Field Warbird Weekend thread later. I gotta call my folks first :D

So what did you do differently? Open up the canopy?

Nope. Basically just some different settings. I don't think you can fly a Navion with the canopy open but I could be wrong.

After this weekend I think it may become an addiction.

You didn't miss much today except for a couple smaller birds leaving and our flight was the only one that came back.

Very nice. Good to hear you got to go flying again.

I didn't want to start yet another thread so hopefully these will be seen by a few of you.

I did a little editing of my shots and was pretty pleased with the results. I usually don't do much editing aside from a little cropping here and there so this felt kinda like cheating but i'll get over it.

One thing...I did these at work and once I got home they looked a little darker. Let me know if they look dark to you as my home and work monitors are a bit different.

Thanks

Very nice editing. It is tough shooting through tinted glass but with a little editing the colour and contrast turned out well.

Cheers,

Eric

Wouldn't the Twin Navion be a L-34 instead of a L-17? 2x17=34 They only built a few of them, maybe only one when Navion/Rangemaster was located at Sequin, Texas.
