Thanks Jeff.....I just went and purchased a new el-cheapo dig-camera from Best Buy, so will get some daylight pix before we head out tomorrow night. We have to wait till late, so as to allow all the folks who drink and drive, to get to their prospective bar....Then get through Realto-Fontana-Ontario-and Chino ....before the bars close!

For once I get to be the boss of 4 California State Troopers, instead of them being the boss of me!!!! Oh Yeah!!!! I GET TO TELL THEM WHERE TO GO!!!! Way too cool!!!

This has to be the ultimate 5th wheel trailer going down the freeway on her main gear. I can't wait to see pictures too. Go get 'em Gary!

Hey all....got some pictures of loading the ole Poon up on the pick-em-up, will try to get them posted later in the am....It's going to be a long nite....The aircraft is so light, that we are having problems with her bouncing around, so it will be a snails pace tonite.

We moved her outside the gates this afternoon, have to wait until 10PM for the DOT inspection, and hanging all the warning lites on the Poon.

Just need cooperation from the wx now....

Bad news in Rialto last nite....Everything was a GO as far as the inspection on the Poon and My pickup....The problem is with the paperwork....I hired a permit company to take care of all the headaches for me, now they are splitting my skull. Hiway Patrol is having issues with the permit company's way of doing things.
We will try to make a go of it tonight, but things are not too promissing.

Got her moved Thursday night! Finally got all the permits done the way Cal. DOT wanted them...left out the gate at Rialto at 11 PM, took 53 minutes to transport to Chino...The Aero trader mechanics lowered the air pressure down to 40 lbs, and that worked perfect! The ole Poon tracked very well at speeds up to 40 mph. Had to back out of it when the road got bumpy. Had excellent escort courtesy Cal. Hiway Patrol...four cars with lights a'flashing and sirens blaring, plus two pilot cars that did a fine job of keeping me from smacking light poles and street signs. The old Dodge pickup did me right too, it was no problem moving or stopping the Harpoon.

I am having problems getting into my photobucket account to show pictures, if anyone is interested, I can email some photos to post here on the WIX forum.
