A group of "Remote Viewers" claims to have located the crash site
of Nungesser and Coli's "White Bird" and hope to do a ground search in September. Hmmm. I wonder how well they might do looking for lost torpedo bombers? Perhaps TIGHAR should seek their help in looking for lost Lockheeds. :shock:

Incase anyone is curious, they have a map showing the location of the crash. Like any good map X marks the spot...

Till they go there in person we won't know if they even located an already known wreck.

Now, if they could also locate Mariano Barberan and Joaquin Collar's Breguet Sesquiplane the "Cuatro Vientos" lost somewhere over Mexico or on the Gulf of Mexico during June 1933 . . .

Or maybe locate Jimmy Hoffa, Emilia Earhart, Atlantis and the lost colony of Roanoke. :wink:

That was a troubled family;

Emilia Earhart was lost, too? Her sister Amelia Earhart has been missing for a long time.

Was she a pilot, too? : )

I just heard an interview with the leader of the "Remote Viewer group" and he claims the spot marked on the map was just a general location and that they were keeping the exact cooridates a secret so they can be the first ones on the scene during the planned September excursion and recovery. This should be interesting.

You really let the Cat out of the bag this time.With a map as clear as the one shown ,you can bet yer buns that Mr.Gillespie and the Avaiton Experts at Tighar are planning an expedition at this very moment to claim all of the glory and astound the world! Or did they find a rusty lug nut or an old spark plug and claim to have found it already?Those guy's are REEL good!They can identify something from the smallest and flimsiest evidence.almost as good as those C.S.I. guys on T.V.

They must have matched the shoe, rather than her name? How novel...
I've dove in Winnipesaukee, nice lake in pretty country.

I guess I should say a few things here first the crash site they are talking about is either one of three aircraft that were lost comeing out of Wolfsboure NH airport.

All I can say is, Moultonboro Airport would be up there at the top of the lake. Wolfboro is located halfway down on the eastern shore.

I think Wolfboro is gone, what a great view as the runway ended at the lake. We drove by Moultonboro a few weekends ago. it looked dead too!
