How does that work? Is there an inner pressure vessel for passengers and then the main cargo area is unpressurized?

Great Pictures! I really look forward to see the progress on that unique behemoth.

It is an impressive addition to the Museum.

You guys DO know that you are looking at what's left of the XC-99 that is still at Lackland/Kelly. It will probably be a while before it's reunited with the parts now at NMUSAF.

Brad did you guys bring a C-17 over to Kelly for some heavy inspection work ?

What a Beast! I have prowled around in the City of Ft. Worth B-36 but it is nothing like the 99. This thing is like looking a inside a boat. I would love to have seen this kind of tour on the whole thing.

I saw one or two pictures a while back but nothing like this. These are great.

Thanks.

Have a good trip and many happy returns.

I wonder if they need an engine mount. I just happen to have one out here in the "pile" at Midland. :)

I can remember going on a tour through it as a kid around 1965 at my first airshow at Kelly AFB.

Brad thanks for the photos! Wasn't this aircraft constructed using a good deal of magnesium? It looks like the elements were rough it.
