I happened to call Ray Stinchcomb (FAA head of the NDPER program) to ask him about a 61.58 check requirement and he said he was standing on the runway at Wright Pat and that 20 B-25's came in. Wow how cool! Wish I was there

Greetings all,
All photos and reports are beyond fabulous! This truly is a once in a lifetime experience from one generation to another. Does anyone know if the ramp will be accessible to the public on Wednesday morning before the Tribute Flight? Thanks.

I don't believe so. Tonight (possibly right now) they're going to tug them all down to the end of the ramp to get ready for the takeoffs tomorrow. I left at about 6:20 and they were trying to get everyone cleared out.

What an awesome day. Totally worth the 4am wake up call to make Urbana by 7am. Thanks to all the crews and staff at Grimes & Wright Pat. I appreciate the owners sharing their amazing machines. Thank you!

thanks for taking the time to post those, Greg (and the others in this thread). I sure hated to leave Urbana on Sunday night, knowing what was still on the way in. At least my 7th graders know who the Doolittle Raiders are now!

It's official. WarbirdRadio.com will be broadcasting the memorial fly-over LIVE. Coverage will begin at 12pm (EASTERN) and will end after all the flying stops. Unofficial plan will include the 16 ship pass, 20 ship pass and rumor has it a Missing Man pass. Tune tomorrow morning for all the details. Warbird Radio LIVE will start as usual at 10am (EASTERN) with updates on the coverage as well.

Greg, A fine set of photos, thanks. It looks like a fantastic event. Its good to see that repairs to Rod Lewis's B-25 were completed so quickly.
