So what happened with the big CAF gaggle that y'all were talking about? Did they get there together, or what?

Oh, I forgot the A-26 (formerly "Lady Liberty", now with a solid nose and no nose art) snuck in at the last minute last night as well.

That PT-19 is from our airport. He just performed the first post-restoration flight a couple of weeks ago. 20+ years he has worked on it. VERY VERY well done restoration.

Just saw P-51C "Tuskegee Airmen" taxi by, in splendid form. Even from the limited view provided by the webcam, she looks amazing! Congratulations to everyone involved in getting her to the show!

Amen Mustanglover.

I spent a lot of time yesterday looking at Herb's handiwork on this beauty. 22 years is a mighty long time to stick with it, and he sure has the right to be proud of her. It is a top notch restoration!

Steve

Unless there are two PT-19s from Texas with a #43 identifier, the owner and restorers name is Herb.

As we all gather in Oshkosh yet again, let's not forget a great guy who's fighting a tough battle. Some hellos to Alan Henley might bring a big smile to him!
