I read the article and (bad grammar notwithstanding) I still have no idea what's going on. Maybe it has to pass/fail before we know what's in it. :shock:

The whole point of the matter Mudge is that for the previous Harlingen to Midland move, the MEMBERS had all of the information before they voted on the move. This particular proposal, tells us nothing other than "We need to move to one of the finalists" and second, "We want the decision to move to come from the General Staff (Board of Directors) - NOT the membership.

To use a word that has been passed around there just isn't any "transparency" in the current proposal.

I don't want to give the General Staff carte blanche to make those decisions. Something as significant as a "move" should be left with the membership.

Did I not make my point? Sorry. My point is/was exactly as you said. NO TRANSPARENCY! A select few want to hold all the cards insofar as making a decision is concerned. When the decisions come only from the top down....Well....you know.
