Skin and Stringers being riveted-


To reduce marring and scratches during riveting I covered the surface with tape-

Some more work being done on the Horizontal Stab-
Structure primed and back in the fixture-

1st part riveted back together-

Skin protected and in place-

Leading edge back in place-

Clecos disappearing and replaced by rivets-


Rivet Squeezer was a pain to get in place, had to pull a set and that allowed enough space to place the tool in place and then put the set back in.

Most holes filled on this side at this point-

Moving onto side 2-

Now the hard work begins.

Should definitely be a show stopper

The focus is on the A/C for being a veteran of training. Were trying to use as many original parts if they are safe for use.
Those are the parts that drug the cadets around around the sky training for combat and serving in the war.
We want it to look as in service back in the early 40s as the book and photos document.
Hopefully it'll turn out ok.

Interesting developments, Both horizontals had skin buckling and stringer damage from using your shoulder to lift the tail on the bottom of the skin on the horizontal-
