I got the out-of-print "Chance Vought Aeroplanes" Hstorical Aviation book from 1979. Been looking for it for a bit!
I also got two "PILOT" Statue figures for the "I Love Me Room"!

A great painting by artist Keith Ferris, "a little to late" from my folks signed by 2 american pilots and a japanese pilot that shot 1 of them down.

Yes, sir. Campbell Aero Classics is in New Zealand. I first saw one of these helmets when down there last year and it's quality amazed me. Now that I have one myself, it amazes me even more. :D It's absolutely top notch!

Ooops. My screw up. I misread it and thought you were talking about a painting of Rickenbacker.

So, I wouldn't be me if I didn't ham it up with a camera a little, here's me with some of my warbird/aviation loot from Christmas. (Probably can't tell, but I even have jammies with jets on!)

Image

That wasn't even all of it, I also got the sticker for my car, and an "I'd rather be flying" license plate frame that had to go on my car immediately. I have a "I <3 Warbirds" sticker too. You can definitely tell what I am into and I was glad my family picked up on it!

Image

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! :D Here's wishing all of you the best in 2007!

Every Christmas I go out to the airport to see if Santa brought me my P-51. He seems to have overlooked me again this year. Maybe he is saving up for a Bearcat! I did get a WARBIRDS calender from Paul Bowen, with some of the best photos around.
