Ole Falin was a friend of my fathers, in the San Jose California area in the 60's/70's. He gave my folks a metal prop clock one year for Christmas. On another occasion, he came to dinner and I was able to show him my latest model., a Goldberg 1/2A Skylane for escapment single channel RC. Later, after graduating HS, I asked Ole to teach me prop carving. He simply said "No" (that was his way- I wish I had persisted!).

IIRC, his old shop is still working on props at the museum in San Martin CA.
