There is much misinformation about this subject out there. Speculation is just that -- and achieves no useful purpose. Anyone w/questions or concerns about the P-82 should just call CAF HQ (432) 563-1000 and they'll be happy to tell you everything they can. Active litigation may restrict information somewhat, but there are no secrets. Suggest you ask for Kay Crites, CAF's dir. of PR, ext. 2231.

I did not say there were any secrets now, just that HQ secretly traded the aircraft without letting the Squadron or membership know about it until it was a done deal.
