No, there's a song in Evita where they keep singing money-money-money and it's not Billy Idol.

Okay. There's one in "Cabaret" too. Funny how the theme keeps coming up, isn't it?

OK, I'll admit it. I own the soundtrack and sing along loudly to it!

BTW, I think an "All C-47" class at Reno would be really awesome to see........and it would sound fantastic! Way better than my singing, that's for D**N sure!

See, you've already started thinking of the benefits of this! You sure wouldn't miss any of the "action!"

An impressive sight and sound, to my thinking, regardless of speed (or lack thereof!)........

Uh, huh........ Your cute. 8)

Impressive is September Fury blasting by at 500mph, 40 feet above the ground. And next year my buddy Rod Lewis' resurrected Rear Bear, blowing the doors off everyone else!!!!!

But you do have point abut having time to take care of personal issues such as beer.

PS - Sport Class now has a Super Sport part of the group............1000ci and squeeze allowed.............YEAHHHHHHHH!!!

King,

On the CFM C-47 the crew "would be able to go take a leak AND get another beer.............and they would only have done one lap more".

Julian

PS I am not condoning the consumption of alcoholic beverages whilst acting as a crew member of aircraft in flight!

Didn't they already try a race like that? I think they called it the T-28 class. :P

Actually they just had a hard time fielding enough T-28s. They are actually much more fun to watch than the T-6s. I just don't like the noise the T-6s make.

And the L-39 jet class is almost enough to keep a peron awake.

Here's a hypothetical Reno Race for you. This idea came from a friend of mine many years ago...

How about a V-Tail Bonanza, figure 8 race...with the only pilot requirements being that you must either be a doctor or lawyer.

I could be wrong, but I think when he came up with that idea, he had just divorced his physician wife, who had a "less than friendly" attorney. So there's a chance he might have been just a tiny bit frustrated with those two professions at the time.
