This is my first post, hope it works! The figure behind the trailing edge is waist gunner Charles Torres. He followed the ball turret gunner out of the bombay after the bail out order was given by the pilot who did not make it out. Mr Torres is still around and lives in my hometown of Johnson City, TN. He was in the 483rd Bomb Group as was my Dad who is also still kicking (and occasionally flying) at 82.
